Coil
I was the senior brand writer for Coil, a financial technology startup.
Coil focused on building open-source interoperable payments technology to make it easier for online creators and publishers to get paid for their work. It's a highly technical company that wanted to clarify its offerings and language to connect with a more mainstream audience
I rewrote several key components of the website to make Coil's offerings much more clear. I also managed freelance writers, created email campaigns, wrote UX copy for various subsidiaries, and wrote and edited blog posts.
I worked as a senior content designer and feature editor for a mobile gaming startup.
The game was focused on interior design, with an editorial feel that incorporated real-world trends, brands, products, and publishers.
I was the only writer on the team. I wrote website copy, designed in-game narratives, managed and executed the editorial calendar, and wrote UX and in-game copy
